The protection of your data is particularly important to us. We, therefore, process your data exclusively based on the applicable legal provisions (EU General Data Protection Regulation GDPR, TKG 2003). In this data protection information, we inform you about the most important aspects of data processing in the context of my activities. The use of my website is usually possible without providing personal data. If you enter personal data, e.g. to establish contact or subscribe to a newsletter, we will pass on the necessary information to companies that process data on my behalf (e.g. send the newsletter).

Contact with us

If you contact us by telephone, e-mail, or any other means, the data you provide (name/company, job title, powers of representation, contact person, business address and other addresses of the customer, telephone number, fax number, e-mail address ) for the purpose of processing the request and in the event of follow-up questions for three years. If a contract results from the request, the statutory retention periods apply. We do not pass on this data without your consent. Data processing takes place on the basis of Art 6 Para 1 lit b (performance of contract) and Art 6 Para 1 lit a (consent) of the GDPR.

Newsletter

You have the option of subscribing to our newsletter via our website. For this, we need your e-mail address and your declaration that you agree to receive the newsletter. As soon as you have registered for the newsletter, we will send you a confirmation email with a link to confirm your registration. Data processing is therefore based on the legal provisions of Section 96 Paragraph 3 TKG and Article 6 Paragraph 1 lit a (consent) of the GDPR. You can cancel the newsletter at any time. Please send your cancellation to the following e-mail address: office@goodestbranddesign.com or use the corresponding link at the end of the newsletter. We will then immediately delete your data in connection with the newsletter dispatch. "MailChimp", a brand of Rocket Science Group, LLC, 675 Ponce De Leon Ave NE #5000, Atlanta, GA 30308, USA, is responsible for sending the newsletter. Your e-mail address, the date of your registration, and the IP address used are stored on the MailChimp servers in the USA. MailChimp uses this information to send and evaluate the newsletter on our behalf. MailChimp also uses the data to optimize its own service, but will under no circumstances pass it on or write to the subscribers themselves. MailChimp is certified under the US-EU data protection agreement "Privacy Shield". Cookies

Our website uses so-called cookies. These are small text files that are stored on your end device with the help of the browser. They do no harm. We use cookies to make our offer user-friendly. Some cookies remain stored on your end device until you delete them. They enable us to recognize your browser on your next visit. If you do not want this, you can set up your browser so that it informs you about the setting of cookies and you only allow this in individual cases. If cookies are deactivated, the functionality of our website may be restricted. Server logs

The server from which this website is provided stores information that is automatically transmitted to us by your browser in so-called log files. These are: - Browser type and browser version - Operating system used - The page (URL) from which you came to us - The IP address of the accessing computer - Time of the request This data is used exclusively for technical monitoring of the web server (utilization, optimization, error detection, security) and is absolutely necessary for this. They are not connected to other data sources so they cannot be assigned to individual persons. They will be deleted after two weeks. Data processing takes place on the basis of Article 6 Paragraph 1 lit f (legitimate interests) of the GDPR. The legitimate interest within the meaning of the GDPR is the proper and secure functioning of the website.

Google Fonts

We use fonts from Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheater Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA on our website. However, this does not send any cookies to Google. Your account details will also not be sent to Google if you are logged in to Google while visiting our website. Google only records the use of the fonts and stores this data securely. Social networks

We use the social networks/platforms LinkedIn, Vimeo, Behance, and Instagram to provide users and other interested parties with information about us and our services, to provide further information related to our offer, to communicate with users (e.g. via message or comment) and to present examples of our work as references. From the point in time at which the relevant platforms or networks are accessed, the terms and conditions and data protection declarations of the operators apply.

Vimeo videos

We use a plugin from the provider Vimeo to display videos on our website. Vimeo is operated by Vimeo, LLC with its main office at 555 West 18th Street, New York, New York 10011. When a video embedded on my website in this way is played, Vimeo establishes a connection to the Vimeo server. If you are currently registered as a Vimeo member, Vimeo can collect this information and assign it to your user account. To prevent this transfer of information, you can log out of your Vimeo account and delete the Vimeo cookies before playing the videos on our website. Data processing takes place on the basis of Article 6 Paragraph 1 lit f (legitimate interests) of the GDPR. The legitimate interest, in this case, is the proper functioning of the website.

Creative daily business

To be able to implement work from the creative day-to-day business, data required for project processing (name/company, job title, postal address, e-mail address, website URL, telephone number, fax number, date of birth, wedding anniversary) are stored for the duration of the project and beyond stored for three years in case of follow-up questions. If necessary, this data can be passed on to third parties to fulfil the contract and for the duration of the project. Data processing takes place on the basis of Art 6 Para 1 lit b (performance of contract) and Art 6 Para 1 lit a (consent) of the GDPR.

Accounting

For the purpose of accounting, the following data of our customers are stored by us: name, company name, address, telephone number, e-mail address, and VAT ID. and, if applicable, your bank details. This data will not be passed on, except for transmission to the processing bank/payment service provider for the purpose of debiting, as well as to our tax consultant for accounting purposes and to fulfill our tax obligations. The data is only stored within the EU. The data you provide is required to fulfill the contract or to carry out pre-contractual measures. Without this data, we cannot conclude and fulfill the contract with you. All data from a contractual relationship will be stored until the end of the tax retention period (7 years). Data processing takes place on the basis of the legal provisions of § 96 Paragraph 3 TKG and Art 6 Paragraph 1 lit a (consent) and/or lit b (necessary for the fulfillment of the contract) of the DSGVO.

Your rights

In principle, you have the right to information, correction, deletion, restriction, data transferability, revocation, and objection. Corresponding inquiries can be addressed to the e-mail address office@goodestbranddesignstudio.com. If you believe that the processing of your data violates data protection law or your data protection rights have otherwise been violated in any way, you can complain to the supervisory authority. In Austria, this is the data protection authority.
